We offer nucleus colonies in the months of April and May only. We use the rest of the season to produce honey and make up nucleus colonies for the following spring.
Spring Nucleus Colonies are made up from our overachievers in early spring and have a fresh Italian 2024 queen that has been laying for at least 3 weeks so all the kinks have been worked out and you can see the laying pattern of your queen.
This will include 5 frames of bees with brood in all stages. Available as 5 Frame Deeps only. *limit 5 colonies per customer*
